As most of you know, I really enjoy the outdoors and get out and do crazy stuff as much as I can. I am fortunate to have my good health and be able to do so. Unfortunately, many are not so lucky and have suffered some sort of brain injury (stroke, injury, infection, etc). I even made a friend this year who is recovering from an injury where he fell from a rooftop while putting on Christmas lights. It is for him that I am walking this year. But….there are many, many others that need the help of the Brain Injury Alliance who have few, if any, options for support.
This will be my 4th year to hike up Pikes Peak to raise money for the Brain Injury Alliance. They are a great group that help so many who are not as fortunate as we are. I know you all know someone who does, or has had, a brain injury. I am asking for your help in donating to such a worthy cause….and for helping support me as I make my climb. The hike to the 14,110 summit is 13 miles….and I look forward to hiking it again (in a sick kind of way).
Your help and support is very much appreciated. I look forward to sharing my experience with you all (once I get down and recover)
Thanks again,
Jack
