On Sept 9th I will be hiking Pikes Peak as part of the Pike Peak Challenge to help raise money for the Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado. Most of you know that my oldest sister Amanda sustained a traumatic brain injury years ago. She wasn’t expected to survive but she did! The research into brain injuries has made such a differnce in her life and the lives of many others. Every year 1.5 million people in the United States sustains a brain injury. Many of these people are in the military and return home having to learn a new way of living. Please help me raise money for this organization so we can make a difference for people like my sister!
