Dear family & friends,
I ran my first marathon in 2006 in honor of a close family friend’s daughter. She was suffering from a brain injury and lost her battle in 2017. This coming Saturday, September 11, I will be participating in the Pikes Peak Challenge in memory of her. I’m raising money on behalf of the Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado’s ongoing mission to improve the lives of those affected by an injury to the brain. When I finish, I will have run/hiked to the 14,115-ft. Pikes Peak Summit.
