My father, Earl Thomas “Tom” Clay passed away on July 23, 2018 due to a brain injury. I am reaching out to my family and friends to share in my exciting commitment to participate in the 2019 Pikes Peak Challenge to raise awareness for brain injury and critical funding for the Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado (BIAC). This fun-filled and exciting event raises awareness for the brain injury community, while at the same time empowers both supporters and survivors as they hike, walk or roll side-by-side.  When I finish, I will have hiked 13 miles; up to Barr Camp and back.

BIAC is dedicated to serving individuals affected by all forms of injuries to the brain. BIAC’s mission is to improve the quality of life by connecting them with resources to help navigate the path of rehabilitation. Brain injuries are so prevalent and so devastating to not only the individual who had the injury, but also their families.
