I’ve supported Scott and his fundraising efforts for the Pikes Peak Challenge in years’ past, but decided I want to climb the mountain myself this year, which means I need to raise my own support!  I’m really looking forward to joining other hikers to the top of this epic 14,000′ peak on September 8, because I love to hike, I love a challenge and I love being in community with people who are living with brain injury.

As an occupational therapist working in acute rehab, I’ve seen how brain injury can suddenly and unexpectedly change a person’s life.  As the wife of someone who has not only survived a severe traumatic brain injury, but who has also passionately served the brain injury community for more than 20 years, I understand how important the Brain Injury Alliance is for providing hope and practical help for survivors and their families.

Please consider joining me on this climb by making a tax-deductible gift, which will directly support BIAC programs.  THANK YOU!
