Several years ago, Bob and I decided we wanted to summit Pikes Peak. We found a great program that raised money for Traumatic Brain Injury patients by challenging people to summit Pikes Peak. During our first hike with the Pikes Peak Challenge group, we met many amazing people, including several TBI survivors. We loved the challenge and the beauty of the hike, and the feeling of accomplishment at summiting our first 14er. At the summit we were greeted by a survivor who placed medals around our necks. It was incredibly moving and rewarding. We had a great experience and have participated again since. This year, we are doing it again and hoping to raise more money for the foundation! I am writing to you asking for your support for this great event. Any proceeds I raise go to the Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado. Anything you can contribute would be greatly appreciated!
