Hey friends! As many of you know I work for Craig Hospital – a rehab hospital specializing in recovery for individuals with brain and spinal cord injuries. I get the distinct honor of hanging out with some pretty courageous and strong people everyday.

When these types of injuries happen, life can seem almost impossible without support and guidance. The Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado is a resource for help and services for survivors of an injury to the brain, and their families.

In coordination with a team from Craig Hospital, and in support of the 500,000+ Coloradans living with the effects of an injury to the brain, I am participating the 2017 Pikes Peak Challenge.

When I finish, I will have hiked 13 miles and 7,400 vertical feet to the 14,110 foot summit of Pikes Peak.

Even more impressive than this challenge, is the courage and strength it takes for a survivor to overcome day to day struggles that come with a life of living with an injury to the brain.

Please help me support The Alliance by donating on my fundraising page, and together we can make a huge impact for brain injury survivors.

Let’s help redefine possible.
