In 2009, my brother Paul was attacked, beaten and left in the middle of the road beside his taxicab. He still has no memory of the attack. The head injuries he suffered prevents him from remembering a lot of things.

Frankly, without help from Rocky Mountain Brain Clinic in Colorado Springs and the Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado, I don’t know what would have become of my brother. With their help, Paul is able to live on his own using the resources and support they provide.

Paul will never be the same, but with BIAC, he can live a productive life where he’s not alone. I am forever grateful for this program and to the people who work with my brother every day.
