I recently accepted a position with the Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado. It has been an incredible opportunity to pursue my goal of being an advocate for individuals with disabilities. I have learned so much about what it means to be a person living with a brain injury and it has been a gift to connect with these unique individuals. It is truly humbling to learn how their experiences have shaped their lives and how strong they are after facing such adversity. It has really shown me how precious life is and how quickly it can change.

SO… to show my support and solidarity with TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) Survivors I have decided to embark on a journey to climb one of Colorado’s most well-known mountains (and my very first 14er ever!!) Pike’s Peak. This is the annual fundraising event for the Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado called the Pike’s Peak Challenge. My team (including my dad and my best friend Vanessa) is called the Brainstorm Troopers!

Any support you can offer is greatly appreciated! This will be a BIG accomplishment for me. Without you, BIAC cannot offer the much needed services to the brain injury community in Colorado.
