My friend is my nephew, Jesse.  He suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI) when he was four years old. The odds are that you or one of your friends knows  somebody affected by TBI.  That’s why I named it 14ers for Friends.

Starting at 5:00 am on September 12th, Team 14ers for Friends will hike 13 miles and 7,400 vertical feet.  It’s called Pikes Peak Challenge – Summit Hike, and it supports the Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado (BIAC).

I’m asking all my other friends (you) to pledge $5 or $10 (or more) to help provide our friends, survivors of TBI, with the solutions they need to help navigate their paths to recovery.    Just press the “Donate Now” button on the right – right now!

Please let me know if you or one of your friends has been affected by TBI so that we may add their name with Jesse’s as our team’s honorees.

Are you beast enough to hike this hike?  Can you raise at least $150 from your friends?  Then please join Team 14ers For Friends ($50 registration fee applies)!
