I am participating in the Pikes Peak Challenge hike in honor of my high-school friend’s birthday. Kumi was hit by a drunk driver on 2/13/87 and suffered a traumatic brain injury, she was 18 years old. Her birthday is in September and this will be TEAM KUMI’s 8th time hiking to celebrate my dear friend and my inspiration.
