Dear Family and Friends,

On September 6th, 2025, I’m taking the Pikes Peak Challenge to raise money on behalf of the Brain Injury Association of Colorado (BIAC), a non-profit organization that provides critical support to survivors of a brain injury in our state. This cause is extremely important to me. As many of you know, my mom was involved in a serious car accident in 2022 and suffered a traumatic brain injury as a result. While her determination and resilience have been nothing short of inspiring, she is forced to navigate the effects of her injury every single day.

Brain Injury is often called the “invisible injury.” It can’t always be seen and therefore is often misunderstood. Each survivor of a brain injury is unique and can be struggling with so many things. Thankfully, organizations like BIAC work to provide the support, connections, and available resources that survivors and their support networks need.

BIAC relies on funding from supporters like you in order to continue providing their important services to survivors in our state. To do my part, I am participating in the Pikes Peak Challenge – Manitou Springs Walk. Together we will walk side-by-side to support this great cause.
