2017 Pikes Peak Challenge Summit Hiker: Jared Reber

Just a guy from Kansas that likes to get physical outdoors. Kayaking, biking, running, lifting stuff, and especially hiking. Over the past two years I had decided I was not as active as I wanted to be and made a change. I felt like I was wasting my able body by not experiencing adventures that others aren’t able to because of health reasons. I’ve been lucky to have a family to share the joys of being outside and experiencing nature with. I enjoy making challenges and pushing my mind and body to see where my limit is. My family helps with this. I backpacked rim to rim of the Grand Canyon with my Dad, my Sis, and two ladies I would consider my family too. I finished the Dirty Kanza 100 bike race with my Dad. Never thought I’d do that. And now the Pikes Peak Challenge Summit Hike that I will complete with my Sis.
