In 1991, I experienced a traumatic brain injury (TBI) that changed my life. Since then, I’ve faced ongoing health challenges, including multiple concussions and brain bleeds due to persistent balance issues. Over the past 30+ years, I’ve been through countless therapies…and the journey is far from easy.
One organization that has made a real difference in my life is the Brain Injury Association of Colorado. Their educational webinars and support programs for survivors have been incredibly helpful and empowering. It’s comforting to know I’m not alone, and even more encouraging to see that new research and resources continue to grow thanks to organizations like this.
