Dear Family and Friends,
On September 6th, 2025, I’m taking the Pikes Peak Challenge to raise money on behalf of the Brain Injury Association of Colorado (BIAC), a non-profit organization that provides critical support to survivors of a brain injury in our state. This cause is important to me, and I need your help!
Brain Injury is often called the “invisible injury.” It can’t always be seen and therefore is often misunderstood. Each survivor of a brain injury is unique and can be struggling with so many things. Thankfully, they are not alone. Every day, BIAC provides the support, connections, and available resources that survivors and their support networks need.
BIAC relies on funding from supporters like you in order to continue providing their important services to survivors in our state. To do my part, I am testing my physical and mental abilities in the Pikes Peak Challenge – Summit Hike. It won’t be easy, but it will be worth it to support a great cause! Can you hike the 13.5 miles to the top of Pikes Peak? Please join my team “5 Gold Star Care and help the team raise money to support those living with an injury to the brain in Colorado. You can join my team online or in person, there are different levels of the challenge available Summit Hike, Barr Camp Hike, Manitou Walk, or virtually. Let’s transpire together and empower ourselves by challenging our own physical limitations and be inspired by those who can not complete this challenge.
Please consider donating to help me reach my fundraising goal. I am hoping to raise at least $1000, but the sky’s the limit! Check out my fundraising page to make a contribution or to learn more about BIAC. Thank you for your support!
Donation checks can be made payable to the Brain Injury Association of Colorado.
